Children Activities: Let’s Talk

  • Discussion Ball: Taking time to just talk is a great way to get to know someone and gauge what others are thinking or feeling.  This discussion ball is designed to start open conversations and also serves as a coloring sheet.

  • Lucky reminds us that being different makes us special. Write down three special things about you.  If you can't think of anything, ask a friend or a relative.  I bet they have more than three things to share that make you so awesome.

Children Activities: Recycling

Children Activities: Drawing

  • Lucy and Charlie had to deal with bullying.  Draw your own "No Bullying" sign and post to let people know that bullying is not allowed.

  • Recycling helps others and our planet.  Draw your own recycle sign and post to remind people to please recycle.

Children Activities: Other things to do…

  • Spanish 101 - Pedro loves speaking in Spanish.  Learn and practice some common phrases.

  • Sign Language - Lucky is deaf, but he knows how to use sign language to communicate with his friends.  Try this tool to learn how to use sign language to spell out your name.  It's really cool.

  • Sign Language Fingerspelling Chart.  Look at or print this chart out so that you can practice using sign language finger-spelling.

  • Unscramble the Letters. Sunny Paws has nine foster dogs.  Help her spell out their names by unscrambling letters.
